MYRRH-BEARERS - HOLY FRIDAY

The Myrrh-Bearers is a ministry for girls in grades 4th -5th - volunteers needed.  Girls will participate by standing and placing flowers on the Epitaphio on Holy Friday evening services.  We ask that girls wear all white.

On Sunday, April 2nd, there will be a Meet and Greet (short lesson/snacks) after Sunday School.  If you wish for your daughter to participate, please RSVP to Georgia Petrakis 916-396-7672 or gdouveas123@gmail.com by March 31st, OR come by the Sunday School Office

ALTAR BOYS' RETREAT - SUN APR 2ND

All current Altar Boys: please join us on Sunday, April 2nd from 11:45am -12:30pm for an Altar Boy refresher.  Altar Boys will practice entrances, exits, and how to prepare and assist during the Divine Liturgy on Sundays and during Holy Week.  Fr. BASKETBALL LEAGUE GAMES

Basketball League games have a home game on Sunday, April 2nd in the Community Center beginning at 1pm.  Come cheer our teams!

LAZARUS SATURDAY BREAKFAST AND PALM CROSS-MAKING FOR ALL AGES!

On Saturday, April 8th, following Orthros (begins 8:30am) and Liturgy which begins at 9:30 am, Saint Nicholas will host a complimentary pancake breakfast in the Small Hall.  Join us!  We will be making Palm Crosses as a Community and all youth and adults are invited!

Need to brush up on your Palm Cross making skills?  We will hold a Palm Cross Tutorial on Wednesday, April 5th , immediately after the evening’s Presanctified Liturgy, in the Small Hall!!

YOUTH EVENT: HOLY FRIDAY RETREAT - ENCOUNTERING THE BODY OF CHRIST

Saint Nicholas cordially invites all students in grades 1st - 8th to attend our retreat on Holy Friday, April 14th from 10:00am to 1:45pm.  There will be a lenten lunch and lessons and hands-on activities will be offered.  If parents require a "note” to excuse your child from school, we will be able to accommodate.
