YOUTH BASKETBALL IS BACK WITH WINTER CLINICS - BEGINS NEXT WEEK!
The St Nicholas youth basketball program is starting up for the '25-'26 season. We will be holding our weekly Winter Clinics open to 3rd grade through HS for boys and girls of all experience levels. Clinics focus on basketball fundamentals as well as open gym play. The Boys clinic will begin Tuesday October 28th from 6:45-7:45. The Girls clinic will begin Thursday October 30th from 5:30-6:30. The Winter Clinic schedule, subject to change, is below. Any changes will be noted in this weekly bulletin.

No Clinics Thanksgiving Week!
In preparation for the spring season, we will start team practices in January. Last year we fielded 5 teams: Boys and Girls Elementary, Boys and Girls Middle School, and Boys High School with over 40 participants. Congrats to our Elementary Girls and High School Boys on winning the League Championship! The Orthodox Youth Athletic Association is a recreational league with other Orthodox churches in the Bay Area with games typically on Sunday afternoons starting soon after FDF in February. Gerontissa Markella and her Sisterhood joyfully, with hope and thanksgiving for your constant support and many years of commitment, invite you to join us again for a Benefit Dinner. The Monastery of the Theotokos of the Life Giving Spring Fundraising Dinner will be on Sunday, November 9th at the St. Nicholas Community Center at 5:00pm.
Donation for tickets for adults $75, children 12 and under $35. All proceeds go to Monastery for essential support to the operation of the Monastery facility.

CHIAN SOCIETY DINNER DANCE - SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15th

PROJECT MEXICO & ST. INNOCENT ORPHANAGE ANNUAL BENEFIT DINNER - CASTRO VALLEY
Project Mexico and St. Innocent Orphanage are pleased to announce their upcoming Benefit Dinner, to be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Resurrection Greek Orthodox Church, 20104 Center Street, Castro Valley, California. This special evening will bring together supporters, community members, and friends to raise critical funds for orphaned and vulnerable children, as well as families in need across Mexico.
The Benefit Dinner will feature an inspiring program, fellowship, and opportunities for guests to directly impact the lives of the boys, infants, and toddlers at St. Innocent Orphanage. Proceeds will also support Project Mexico’s ongoing mission of building homes for the poor, providing access to education, and fostering spiritual growth.
